Leak Reveals Sony's New Controller For The PS5 | NewsFleet Ps5 Controller Leak
With a little luck, we may get new details from Sony’s PS5 during the CES 2020 press conference, where the company is expected to unveil a “unique vision of the future” that “unleashes new sensations and emotions.” Whatever that vision, it could be argued that the PS5 should be at the center of it all.
Sony confirmed the name of the PlayStation 5 a few months ago, but the company did not reveal the design of the console. While it’s unclear if Sony would like to show the . Here’s a photo of the PS5 kit that was recently leaked:
This leads us to the following images, which were apparently shared on Facebook by someone whose job it is to clean up the PS5 development kit prototypes:
As you can see, we’re looking at the same V-shaped PlayStation 5 development kit design, although the commercial version of the PS5 won’t necessarily look anything like the prototypes developers have. The most interesting thing is the built-in controller, which is almost certainly a prototype of the DualShock 5 device that will ship with the PS5 this fall.
Sony had not announced the real name of the controller when it revealed some of the new features of the PS5 controller a few months ago. The company said the device would have much better haptic feedback than the DualShock 4, without showing official driver images or revealing any other features.
Since then, we’ve learned that the controller could incorporate a microphone for the so-called PlayStation assistant, as well as backward-facing buttons similar to the add-on Sony created for the DualShock 4. Your device should also have a larger touchpad.
The only thing from the above images is that the design of the PS5 development kit has been confirmed once again. Since the Xbox design is already official, Sony should show the controller of the PS5 and DualShock 5 soon. If this does not happen at CES during the Sony press event, we should see the console in mid-February during the rumor of Sony’s PlayStation press event.
